mutton kozhambu - goat meat curry

Ingredients

mutton - 1/2 kg
garlic - 1/2 cup
onion 1/2 cup
mustard seed - 1 tsp
cumin seed - 1/2 tsp
urad dal - 1/2 tsp
curry leaves 

To grind

onion - 1/2 cup
garlic - 1/2 cup
tomato - 1
coconut - 1/4 cup
ginger garlic paste - 1 tsp
garam masala - 1 tsp
coriander pdr - 2 tsp
mint leaves - 1/2 cup ( gives nice flavor)
cashews - 10 no.
cardamom - 2 no.
dry chili - 4 to 5
cinnamon, cloves - few
fennel seed - 1 tsp
cumin seed - 1 tsp
black pepper - 1/2 tsp 

Preparation 

1. Clean mutton pieces with turmeric pdr & salt - set aside
2. In a pan add 2 tsp of oil & roast cashews followed by all the ingredients under 'To grind' one by one ( see video ) After cooling it down make it to a fine paste
3. Add 2 tsp of oil in a pan  - add mustard seed, cumin & urad dal - once it splutter, saute garlic, onion.
4. Now add mutton pieces - mix it for 3 to 4 minutes ( water from mutton pieces will come out within that time ). 
5. Now add ground paste - shift all these to a pressure cooker.
6. Add salt & enough water for cooking - Let this cook for 4 or 5 whistle sounds
7. Now this mutton curry is ready to have with chapati, or idly or with rice
