Easy Vegetable Biryani ( TAMIL VIDEO RECIPE )

Ingredients

basmathi rice - 1 cup ( water 2 cups ) 
tomato - 1 
onion - 1
curd - 4 tbsp
dry chili - 4
ginger - small piece
garlic - 5 cloves
mint leaves - 1 cup
carrot, beans, cauliflower - 1 cup in each
cloves, cinnamon - few
fennel seed pdr - 1 tsp
cardamom pdr - 1/2 tsp
turmeric - pinch
bay leaf

Method

1. Rinse rice & soak it in measured water before 1 hour ( 1 cup rice : 2 cups water )
2. Ground tomato, ginger, garlic, dry chili, cinnamon, clove, 1/2 cup of mint leaves - set this ground paste aside
3. Wash cauliflower in hot water
4. Add 2 tsp of oil in a pan, add bay leaf, onion - Once you got brown onions saute all vegetables with it.
5. Add another 1/2 cup of mint leaves, ground paste, curd,fennel seed pdr, cardamom pdr, turmeric pdr - stir it for 3 minutes
6. In a pressure cooker add 4 tsp of oil at first, then add soaked rice with its water, vegetable mixture, salt. Let this cook for 1 pressure sound
7. Now this simple veg biryani is ready to serve
