TOMATO SAMBAR

Ingredients

tomato - 3
big onion - 1
garlic - 1
green chili - 2
moong dal - 4 tbsp ( pasi paruppu )
( soaked in water for 1 hour )

Seasoning

mustard seed - 1 tsp
cumin seed - 1/2 tsp
urad dal - 1/2 tsp
curry leaves, salt, oil











 1. Cook all ingredients ( except seasonings ) in a pressure cooker for 3 pressure sounds.
 2. Smash cooked dal mixture
 3. In a kadai add 2 tsp of oil. Add seasoning ingredients. Once it pops add cooked dal mixture.
 4. Add required water . Let it boil for 5 minutes.
 5. Serve this simple, healthy, & delicious recipe with idly, dosa, idiyappam, upma. Thank you
